Vehicle fire causing traffic delays
A car fire caused delays in Weymouth on Saturday afternoon.
The A354 Westwey Road was partially blocked around 3pm after the engine compartment of a car caught fire.
One crew from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue services attended and extinguished the blaze using one hose reel jet.
Both lanes were quickly re-opened although heavy traffic was reported on Weymouth Way between Westwey Road, Abbotsbury Road, North Quay and Newstead Road.
