A LORRY that caught fire caused traffic delays in Bridport this morning.
The A35 was partially blocked between the Texaco garage and Walditch after a Lorry caught alight around 8.30am this morning.
Two fire crews from Bridport and Beaminster put out the fire just before 9am using two hose reel jets.
The fire was a result of the lorry's brakes overheating.
A Dorset Fire and Rescue spokesperson on scene said: "We received a call at approximately 8.30am from the owner of the lorry.
"We have been working to extinguish the fire using hose reel jets."
