DORSET County Hospital is to set up a group to look at parking issues facing staff, patients and visitors.
Director of finance and resources Libby Walters told a meeting of hospital governors that a transport group was being set up in response to an increasing number of complaints from patients as well as staff.
The group will look at ways of addressing some of the issues and will include staff representatives and a patient liaison lead.
Mrs Walters said: “We need to sort out some of the parking issues we have got at the moment.”
Public governor Andy Hutchings agreed that there was a need to look at parking issues at the hospital.
He said: “There is nothing more exasperating than coming to this hospital in the middle of the day and trying to find somewhere to park.”
