DOZENS of people have descended on Chesil beach to scavenge through tonnes of debris washed up after the recent storms.
Driftwood, plastic, ropes, dead birds and even a dead cow have been washed up along miles of the beach.
Several people have also staged an impromptu clean-up today with more to follow over the coming week.
